Billing and expenses

s10全球总决赛竞猜If you are a resident of Ontario and have a valid health card, the cost for most of your care should be covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). However, there may be some additional costs associated with your care that are not covered by OHIP or your personal/workplace insurance plan. In these cases you will be billed for these expenses. The following are examples of some of the costs OHIP does not cover:

  • A semi-private or private room
  • Crutches, fibreglass casts, canes or walkers
  • Ambulance services and transportation services arranged by the family
  • Cosmetic surgery
  • Reversal surgery
